The culminating gathering of 'Connecting Makerspaces in the Western Balkans Region' Project founded by Western Balkan Fund took place in Sarajevo, wherein the FabLab Sarajevo played host to the project partners Inovacioni biznis centar Zlatibor, Naučno tehnološki park Čačak, Association Foster, for an intensive two-day session. This convocation served as a platform for us to deliver our ultimate findings and chart out the path forward in our partnership. We presented the premises of FabLab Sarajevo to the partners, our go-to growth strategy, Values and Philosophy, FabLab Network and Fab Academy. Together we did project overview and recap of the workshops: Original goals and objectives, major accomplishments, overview on methods, processes and key problems areas, actions that still need to be completed and making of the action plan for maker platform development on regional level (Maker Faire organization in Serbia and North Macedonia, and other future maker events organizations (trainings, networking, competitions) as well as consider our future opportunities to collab.
