FabLab Bosnia and Herzegovina took part in the BOOST National Training in Mostar, a three-day event dedicated to strengthening civil society, promoting youth engagement, and supporting sustainable local development across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The training was organized by the Local Democracy Agency (LDA) Mostar as part of the regional project BOOST – Balkans for Optimising Opportunities, Sustainability and Transformation of Civil Society, led by the European Association for Local Democracy (ALDA) and supported by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD).
During the event, FabLab BiH officially presented its project “High-Tech Youth Caravan – FabMobile BiH”, which brings advanced digital fabrication, green innovation, and entrepreneurship training directly to rural and peri-urban communities across the country. The project aims to equip over 200 young people—at least 40% of them women—with practical skills for sustainable innovation and employability.
The BOOST National Training gathered grantees from across Bosnia and Herzegovina to exchange experiences, explore opportunities for cooperation, and build collective capacity for positive local change. For FabLab BiH, it was an opportunity to connect with like-minded organizations and reaffirm its commitment to making innovation and learning accessible to all.
By joining the BOOST network, FabLab BiH continues to promote a culture of making, inclusion, and sustainable development—demonstrating how innovation can grow from the ground up, in every corner of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
