“Winter STEM School 2022” was implemented from February 5 to March 31, 2022, by FabLab Sarajevo with support from the Ministry of Education. The program included five detailed, hands-on STEM workshops hosted in FabLab’s premises using advanced digital fabrication tools. Each session combined theoretical learning with project-based prototyping to engage high school and university students in 3D technologies. Participants developed teamwork, innovation, and critical thinking skills while exploring how to turn their ideas into functional product prototypes.
The initiative supported gender equality, youth empowerment, and lifelong learning by creating an exciting, motivating environment. Through inclusive access to modern equipment and mentoring, the project contributed to developing technical culture and preparing youth for future education and careers.
