The 3D Academy project focuses on strengthening vocational education providers in the use of 3D technologies by developing and piloting an innovative blended training programme. The goal is to help VET teachers deliver training that aligns with evolving economic and labour market demands. The program includes online modules and a Platform with a Trainer’s Guide offering step-by-step instructions on how to deliver 3D-related content in both classroom and extracurricular settings.
The curriculum covers 3D printing, 3D scanning, and 3D modelling, with basic and advanced levels available. The blended approach ensures flexibility and accessibility for both students and educators, supporting adult education and extracurricular VET programmes as well. The project ultimately aims to promote innovative teaching methods and expand digital skills in vocational and technical education sectors.
