The SNAP OFF project aims to empower entrepreneurs through a digital platform and training in additive manufacturing.

Project Description

The SNAP OFF project aims to build resilience among entrepreneurs, start-ups and MSMEs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Italy by transferring EU knowledge on smart-working and additive manufacturing (AM) through an online platform (AMOP). The project focuses on helping businesses adopt agile practices to cope with operational disruptions such as those caused by COVID-19. Key partners include EU consultants from Croatia and Italy, BiH IPR experts, FabLab (as AM provider), and BSIP (AMOP provider).

Activities include the creation of the SNAP OFF Platform, which supports networking, learning, and digital collaboration, delivery of five webinars to over 500 attendees on topics such as smart-working, AM, digitalization, and intellectual property, and development of multilingual materials. AMOP continues to function as an emergency tool post-project, sharing equipment and design files for remote, distributed manufacturing.

Outcomes include increased knowledge of AM and smart-working, improved MSME capacity, and stronger international cooperation. The project targets 250 MSMEs directly and up to 30,000 employees indirectly, strengthening the broader ecosystem of digital innovation across the region.
