The project aims to establish the Maker Movement in BiH and strengthen its impact in the Visegrad region.

Project Description

The project “Maker Movement Establishing in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Strengthening in the Visegrad Region” addressed youth unemployment and low innovation capacity in BiH by establishing a national Maker Movement. The initiative also strengthened science popularization at the regional level by creating youth- and maker-focused communities in BiH and enhancing cross-border collaboration with partner organizations from Poland (Robisz), Hungary (FabLab Budapest), Slovakia (AGNICOLI), and the Czech Republic (Make More).

Through collaborative capacity building, strategy development, training, and a regional Maker conference in Sarajevo, the project connected FabLabs and makers across V4 countries and BiH. It promoted digital fabrication, entrepreneurship, and community innovation. Activities empowered young people, strengthened organizational networks, and introduced scalable tools and methods for long-term impact in education, industry, and local communities.
