The IT Girls Training Camp, implemented for two consecutive years by FabLab BiH in partnership with the IT Girls initiative, aims to educate and empower young women across Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region for careers in STEM fields. The camps, held during summer and winter sessions, engage participants in interactive workshops and expert-led lectures in 3D modeling, robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence.
Through mentorship, project-based learning, and hands-on prototyping at FabLab’s facilities, the girls explore cutting-edge technologies and develop key technical skills. Activities include physical prototyping, work in AR/VR environments, and exposure to new methods in IT. The program is structured to boost their confidence, motivation, and career readiness, while also addressing gender equality in the technology sector. The IT Girls Training Camp continues to build a supportive ecosystem for young women to enter and thrive in tech-driven futures.
