This project focuses on the advancement of urban mobility in the Western Balkans through the establishment of an EIT Urban Mobility RIS Hub, covering Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. The initiative is built on four pillars:
1. matching and connecting stakeholders from academia, government, industry, and civil society,
2. education and training programs to upskill local actors in sustainable mobility practices,
3. support for startups and innovation acceleration, and
4. bringing cutting-edge mobility solutions to market.
The project fosters cross-border collaboration, addresses regional challenges in transportation and urban infrastructure, and promotes green, digital, and inclusive solutions for mobility. By acting as a central hub, the initiative supports ecosystem development and enables the Western Balkans to integrate more closely with EU urban mobility innovation
