The “Training and Learning Factory” (TLF) model, developed by FabLab BiH and supported by EIT, offers advanced, hands-on technical training.

Project Description

The “Training and Learning Factory” (TLF) is a professional education model launched by FabLab BiH with support from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Designed to meet the demands of Industry 4.0 and 5.0, it combines digital fabrication, emerging technologies, and applied learning. TLF focuses on upskilling and reskilling in additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence, AR/VR, 3D bioprinting, and circular economy principles. Training is delivered using hybrid learning models, including GLP-focused modules that are rarely covered in traditional academia.

With state-of-the-art equipment and trainers from industry, academia, and consulting, FabLab Sarajevo serves as the central hub for TLF, located in the heart of the UNSA Campus. TLF is not only implemented locally but also across the wider Balkan region to enhance workforce readiness, enabling access to high-tech training, and commercializing courses to support sustainable digital transformation.
