In 2024, FabLab BiH supported Medion d.o.o. in digitalizing its transport coordination and logistics system through the implementation of NEX GPS – a comprehensive monitoring and dispatch software. The software integrates GPS tracking with management functionalities such as location monitoring, route analysis, fuel and toll expense tracking, service scheduling, and alert systems for maintenance and unauthorized usage.
The system was deployed across 17 company trucks, improving response time to customer demands and ensuring better productivity and resource management. FabLab facilitated a full cycle from assessment and configuration to testing and staff training. The software has enabled detailed reporting and forecasting for cost efficiency and vehicle utilization, ultimately enhancing Medion’s competitiveness in the transportation sector.
