“Back to School: STEM – 3D Printanje Radionica” is a 3-month educational project implemented by FabLab BiH in collaboration with schools from Novo Sarajevo municipality. The project addresses educational and social challenges such as functional illiteracy, youth unemployment, and lack of interest in technical fields by providing 10 intensive STEM workshops focused on 3D printing and technology. More than 100 students from three primary and one secondary school participated, with a 50% female representation.
The workshops were held at FabLab Sarajevo and covered practical and theoretical aspects of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), empowering youth with 21st-century skills. The program encouraged creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation through hands-on prototyping. The project contributed to local educational strategies and EU-aligned goals by promoting technical culture and inclusive digital literacy.
