In collaboration with innovator Asim Bucuk, FabLab developed a prototype of a mobile-powered device for inflammation treatment using photobiomodulation (PBM).

Project Description

Energizer Light is an innovative project developed through a collaboration between FabLab BiH and inventor Asim Bucuk, aimed at designing and prototyping a portable electronic device for treating localized inflammatory conditions. The device utilizes mobile phone power to activate a light source that emits specific wavelengths known to stimulate biochemical processes through Photobiomodulation (PBM). PBM is a recognized non-invasive therapy with applications in pain management, inflammation reduction, and tissue recovery. Energizer Light stands out on the global market for its compact form factor, smart integration with mobile devices, and ease of use for everyday health maintenance.

The project resulted in a working prototype, supported by three patents that protect both the technical functionality and application scope. The device holds strong market potential for health tech innovation and demonstrates the role of maker labs in supporting medical entrepreneurship through R&D and IP commercialization.
