The ARAISE project addresses the urgent need to democratize robotics and artificial intelligence education across Europe by developing Robotont — an inclusive, cost-effective, and open-source robotics platform featuring intuitive programming interfaces and human-robot interaction capabilities.
As part of the consortium, FabLab leads the development of maker-oriented education modules and drives hardware optimization, ensuring the platform’s accessibility through 3D-printable components and a simplified setup, directly supporting the project’s goal of widespread accessibility of robotics education.
